The design and selection of equipment at the Outpatient Imaging Center have been made to offer outpatients a technologically-superior and patient-accommodating experience. Conveniently located at 2055 Military Trail, Suite 101, the Outpatient Imaging Center has been designed to reflect the uniqueness of our community while paying close attention to the comfort our patients deserve. Our outpatient imaging services ranked in the top 10% nationally for patient satisfaction, as reported by PRC.

The state-of-the-art equipment includes the Phillips Intera 1.5 MRI machine. Utilizing the patented "SENSE" technology allows patients to have MRI exams in the shortest times possible (typically 20-30 minutes) without compromise of the high quality exams associated with Jupiter Medical Center. The "short bore" allows a patient to experience the open atmosphere that is typically missing from most MRI machines.

Additionally, the Discovery ST Elite is a redesigned PET/CT system completely optimized for cancer care, as well as for neurologic and cardiac imaging. This $2.3 million system integrates a Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scanner with a 16-slice Computed Tomography (CT) scanner and is capable of 2D and 3D imaging with a larger bore for all patient studies or sizes. This Discovery ST Elite system provides physicians with more sensitivity, speed, resolution and diagnostic confidence when treating cancer patients.

Other services offered at the center include X-ray, Flouroscopy and Ultrasound services. All modalities will be connected to an on-line reading station allowing radiologists to interpret images on monitors thereby shortening the time required for results.

Patients and physicians can now have the benefits of the hospital in an outpatient setting. Films and reports are available 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. All exams performed at the Outpatient Imaging Center are stored and read via our PACs system, an important benefit that allows for quick access to your studies by our Radiologists for interpretation, as well as by your physician who can quickly access your images and reports electronically. In addition to viewing these exams online via our PACs system, your exam reports and images can also be stored and viewed on a CD.
