Physical therapists provide services aimed at preventing the onset and/or slowing the progression of conditions resulting from injury, disease and birth. The physical therapist provides services to individuals of all ages who have functional conditions resulting from, but not limited to, back and neck injuries, sprains, strains and fractures, arthritis, amputations, joint replacements, strokes and neurological disorders, balance, birth disorders such as cerebral palsy and developmental delay, sports injuries and work injuries.
