Abraham Schwarzberg, MD, has been appointed Chief of Oncology at Jupiter Medical Center. He takes the helm of Jupiter Medical Center’s oncology program, which is recognized by the Commission on Cancer as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center, an honor earned by just 25 percent of cancer centers the country.

The Jupiter Medical Center Auxiliary, the volunteer group responsible for the largest source of monetary donations to Jupiter Medical Center, recently presented the Jupiter Medical Center Foundation with a generous donation of a quarter of a million dollars. Of that, $40,000 was used for the completion of the newly-renovated Auxiliary Gift Shop.

Clinics Can Help, a local non-profit that donates surplus durable medical equipment and supplies to financially needy children and adults in the county, has partnered with the Wheelchair Foundation to provide 10 children’s wheelchairs for Jupiter Medical Center this January.
