Dr. Cook specializes in the treatment of sports-related injuries and arthroscopic surgery of the upper and lower extremities. He treats traumatic fractures by referral.
After his University of Florida Orthopedic residency program in Jacksonville, Dr. Cook completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship training at the Kerlan-Jobe Clinic in Los Angeles, California. There, he helped provide medical care for the L.A. Rams, Lakers, Kings, Dodgers, California (Anaheim) Angels, Hollywood Park Jockeys and several collegiate teams. He also performed an A.O. Trauma fellowship at the prestigious clinic in Ulm, Germany and Basel, Switzerland.
Currently, Dr. Cook serves as an Orthopedic Consultant to the Florida Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals Major League Baseball organizations, and numerous other professional and amateur athletes in South Florida. Currently, he is Chief of Surgery at Jupiter Medical Center. He is actively researching sports injury prevention, mechanics and treatment.
