CHRISTOPHER ADAMS

Dr. Adams is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon and partner and Abacoa Physical Medicine & Othoropaedics who applies the latest advances in non-operative and operative treatment of shoulder problems. He spent 5 years at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where he did his orthopaedic surgical training. He completed his training in the only advanced shoulder arthroscopy fellowship in the country, with Dr. Stephen S. Burkhart in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Adams also has the distinct honor of being one of the instructors at the annual advanced shoulder arthroscopy course in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Adams has been published in numerous peer-reviewed orthopaedic journals on articles related to shoulder surgery. While at the Mayo Clinic he published an orthopaedic review textbook.

Dr. Adams has extensive training and experience with shoulder care. He is uniquely able to provide comprehensive non- operative and operative treatment of shoulder problems.
