About Interventional Radiologists

Interventional Radiologists specialize in minimally-invasive, targeted treatments. They provide in-depth knowledge of the least invasive treatments available, coupled with diagnostic and clinical experience across all specialties. Many conditions that once required traditional open surgery can now be treated non-surgically. Interventional Radiologists use image guidance to non-surgically treat a variety of diseases, resulting in better outcomes, less pain and faster recovery compared to open surgery.
