About Interventional Radiologists

Interventional Radiologists specialize in minimally-invasive, targeted treatments. They provide in-depth knowledge of the least invasive treatments available, coupled with diagnostic and clinical experience across all specialties. Many conditions that once required traditional open surgery can now be treated nonsurgically. Interventional Radiologists use image guidance to nonsurgically treat a variety of diseases, resulting in better outcomes, less pain and faster recovery compared to traditional surgery.
