Outpatient Individual Counseling

A Registered Dietitian provides therapeutic diet instructions for disease states such as:

• Cardiovascular Disease (Hypercholesterolemia, Hypertension)
• Gastrointestinal Disease (Peptic Ulcer, GERD, Diverticular Disease)
• Endocrine/Metabolic Disease (Diabetes, Hypoglycemia, Obesity, Osteoporosis, Gestational  Diabetes)
• Renal Disease (Renal Insufficiency/Failure)

Nutritional diets include, but are not limited to:

• Low Fat, Low Cholesterol
• Low Protein, Sodium and Potassium
• Low Fiber, Low Residue
• High Fiber
• High Calcium
• Low Sodium
• High Calorie, High Protein
• Nutritional Needs During Pregnancy/Lactation

Education will be tailored based on physicians' orders; follow-up reports will be sent to the physician on a timely basis. Insurance can be billed with doctor prescription and authorization if indicated.
