In the spirit of generosity, Jupiter Medical Center Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program is committed to creating broad access to its program for those who are interested in exploring the benefits of mindfulness practice. We recognize that unanticipated financial challenges occur, and we do not want cost to be the sole determining factor in whether or not you participate in our program. Therefore, if you are interested, and feel you cannot attend a program due to its cost, you are strongly encouraged to apply for a scholarship.
You may apply for a scholarship for one program per year. Priority is given to those applying for the first time. A separate scholarship application is required for each year. Because of the volume of requests for scholarships and our wish to support as many as possible, the full cost of a program is rarely covered by one of our scholarships. Eligibility is determined based on the Health Care District of Palm Beach County 2016-2017 Federal Poverty Level Guidelines. Assessment for eligibility and award of a scholarship begins with completing the registration process outlined below.
The first step toward enrollment in the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program is to sign-up for an Orientation Session, which is free of charge and required of all participants before being accepted.
Once you have registered for an Orientation Session, you may download the scholarship application by clicking here. If you do not have access to a computer or would like a paper application mailed, please call 561-660-1828. Please complete the scholarship application in its entirety and email it to MBSRSA@jupitermed.com.
Your scholarship application must be received by the MBSR program by the scheduled orientation. Notification of a scholarship award will be made prior to the first class (please click here for the MBSR annual calendar).
In addition, the Jupiter Medical Center MBSR program offers a six-month payment plan as a form of tuition assistance Click here for more information.
