Outpatient Individual Counseling

A Registered Dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy to assist in the management of: 

  • Cancer

  • Cardiovascular disease (high cholesterol, high blood pressure)

  • Diabetes

  • Endocrine/metabolic diseases (diabetes, hypoglycemia, obesity, osteoporosis, gestational diabetes)

  • Gastrointestinal diseases (celiac disease, diverticular disease, gastritis, gerd, irritable bowel syndrome, peptic ulcer)

  • Liver/ pancreatic disease

  • Renal disease (renal insuf ciency/failure)

  • Weight management

  • Wound care 

Nutritional diets include, but are not limited to:

  • Low Fat, Low Cholesterol

  • Low Protein, Sodium and Potassium

  • Low Fiber, Low Residue

  • High Fiber

  • High Calcium

  • Low Sodium

  • High Calorie, High Protein

  • Nutritional Needs During Pregnancy/Lactation

Education will be tailored based on physicians' orders; follow-up reports will be sent to the physician on a timely basis. Insurance can be billed with doctor prescription and authorization if indicated.
