A Registered Dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy to assist in the management of:
Cardiovascular disease (high cholesterol, high blood pressure)
Endocrine/metabolic diseases (diabetes, hypoglycemia, obesity, osteoporosis, gestational diabetes)
Gastrointestinal diseases (celiac disease, diverticular disease, gastritis, gerd, irritable bowel syndrome, peptic ulcer)
Liver/ pancreatic disease
Renal disease (renal insuf ciency/failure)
Nutritional diets include, but are not limited to:
Low Fat, Low Cholesterol
Low Protein, Sodium and Potassium
Low Fiber, Low Residue
High Calorie, High Protein
Nutritional Needs During Pregnancy/Lactation
Education will be tailored based on physicians' orders; follow-up reports will be sent to the physician on a timely basis. Insurance can be billed with doctor prescription and authorization if indicated.
