In 2016, Jupiter Medical Center was rated in the top 100 hospitals in the nation for pulmonary care as well as in the top 10 percent in the nation and region for medical excellence in cardiac, neurological, pneumonia, pulmonary and stroke care, as well as GI and heart attack treatment. For patient safety, we also rated in the top 10 percent in overall medical care in both the nation and the region. Industry Leading Risk Adjusted Mortality
Quantros, a leading provider of software solutions that advance health care quality and safety, ranked Jupiter Medical Center one of the top performing hospitals in the country in a crucial category: risk adjusted mortality. This is a ratio of the observed number of in-hospital deaths to the number expected based on the hospital's case mix. Jupiter Medical Center performed better than 99.4 percent of hospitals in Florida and, in a coast-to-coast comparison, outperformed 99.9 percent of the hospitals across the U.S.
High Praise from Patients
The Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) is a national survey that asks patients about their experiences during a recent hospital stay. Our overall patient satisfaction and likelihood to recommend ratings again ranked the highest in Palm Beach and Martin Counties and remain significantly higher than the state and national averages.

Jupiter Medical Center earns highest rating in region for quality of care from federal agency
Jupiter Medical Center today announced that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services recently awarded them a 4-star rating for quality of care, the highest ranking a hospital received in either Martin or Palm Beach Counties. This rating places Jupiter Medical Center in the top 10 percent of hospitals in the state of Florida and the top 22 percent of hospitals nationwide.
