The Outpatient Rehabilitation Team is committed to providing comprehensive therapy services. Our experienced team includes physical and occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists.
Physical therapy services are aimed at preventing the onset and/or slowing the progression of conditions resulting from injury or disease. The physical therapist or assistant provides treatment to patients with diagnosed ailments such as back, neck, or joint injuries, sprains/strains and fractures, arthritis, joint replacements, work or sport injuries, neurological disorders and strokes.
Occupational therapy services involve skilled interventions that help patients achieve independence in daily activities. An occupational therapist provides evaluation and treatment to help patients who have health conditions affecting the functional performance of necessary daily activities required to achieve increased independence.
Speech-Language therapy services focus on speech, language, and voice disorders, along with swallowing difficulties that arise as the result of illness of health conditions. The speech therapist provides assessment, diagnoses and treatment for disorders related to speech and swallowing.
