STAR Program®

Jupiter Medical Center’s Ella Milbank Foshay Cancer Center and Rehabilitation and Wellness Services joined forces to offer our cancer patients the STAR Program®, a nationally certified program designed to meet the unique rehabilitative needs and interests of cancer patients and survivors.

The STAR Program integrates a variety of therapeutic techniques under the direct supervision of licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists, a dietician, oncology counselor, massage therapist, exercise specialists and oncology nurses. All aspects of rehabilitation are coordinated with the approval and guidance of the patient’s physician. A physician referral is required for enrollment in the program. The STAR Program is covered by Medicare and most insurance plans.
