Jupiter Medical Center provides inpatient, outpatient and specialty surgical services, offering the finest surgical patient care. Our expertise extends to a wide range of surgical procedures and our surgeons have specialized training to treat patients with both simple and complex medical conditions. We perform surgeries primarily for adult and geriatric age groups, and occasionally, adolescents or pediatrics.
The surgical team at Jupiter Medical Center performs more than 7,000 surgeries annually. Our extensive range of surgical services includes laparoscopic & robotic, orthopedic and total joint replacement, plastic and reconstructive, vascular, thoracic, arthroscopic and microsurgery, general surgery, bariatrics, and gynecologic and gynecology oncology.
Using the most advanced surgical techniques and state-of-the art technology, our board certified surgeons are supported by board certified anesthesiologists, highly skilled nurses and surgical technicians. Nine surgical suites, teamed with a 12-bed recovery unit and a 14-bed pre-operative "roomette" area offer the latest in comfort and advanced technology for each surgical patient.
We offer a state-of-the-art, all digital surgical suite that gives our physicians the tools and technology necessary to move medicine into the future and allows surgeons to further enhance their minimally-invasive procedures. It has a centralized design that allows for streamlined operations, flexibility, increased efficiency and the technology to educate other surgeons and surgical team members through telesurgery and telementoring. The surgery department also houses a state-of-the-art urology suite.
Anesthesia uses advanced techniques and equipment to administer state-of-the-art general, regional and local anesthetics. Comprehensive acute and chronic pain management services are provided by an interdisciplinary team coordinated by a board certified anesthesiologist who has additional qualifications in pain management.
The Surgical Services team understands that any type of surgery can cause anxiety. Knowing what to expect and what is expected of you makes it possible for you to actively participate in your care. We work closely with our patients and their families to provide comfort and reassurance during their stay. This includes educational information about what to expect before, during, and after surgery.
