Fundraising

Since its inception in 1976, the Auxiliary has raised more than $14 million for Jupiter Medical Center, making it one of the single largest contributors to the medical Center. The Auxiliary manages Jupiter Medical Center's Thrift Shop, located at 205 Center Street in Jupiter, and the medical center's Gift Shop, located in the East Lobby of the newly constructed 5-story tower. Proceeds from both shops benefit Jupiter Medical Center.

The Auxiliary's most recent donations include:

  • $150,000 for advanced orthopedic software for the Mako Robotic-Assisted Surgery System
  • $1,000,000 for the boutique in the Anderson Family Cancer Institute
  • $1,000,000 for the Level II De George Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Teenage Volunteer Scholarship Program

The Jupiter Medical Center Auxiliary Scholarship Program began in 2008. Scholarships are funded by proceeds from the Jupiter Medical Center Thrift Shop, Gift Shop, and designated donations. Scholarships are awarded annually to graduating high school seniors who intend to pursue a career in the field of medicine. To date, the Auxiliary has awarded scholarships to sixty teenage volunteers.
