Physician Bio
Dr. Tihesha Wilson is a fellowship-trained, board certified, breast surgeon.
Her fellowship training took place through a combination program including
Anne Arundel, Georgetown and Johns Hopkins. Dr, Wilson has extensive training
in oncoloplastic surgery which allows surgery with hidden scars keeping
the architecture of the breast. She is committed to creating a specialized
and unique treatment plan that is tailored for every patient, leveraging
expertise in minimally invasive surgical techniques and breast conservation
approaches.
Dr. Wilson traveled abroad studying integrative medicine as it pertains
to breast care. That allows for an open, honest discussion with patients
about which pathways to healing will serve them best. She considers integrative
medicine an adjunct to western medicine.
