Physician Bio
Debra Brandt, DO, is Director of Medical Oncology and Program Leader -
Breast and Gynecologic Cancers at the Anderson Family Cancer Institute.
Prior to arriving at Jupiter Medical Center, Dr. Brandt was an Assistant
Professor of Clinical Medicine (Medical Oncology) at Yale School of Medicine,
Medical Director of the Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center in Torrington,
CT, and a member of the Developmental Therapeutics Research Program at
Yale Cancer Center.
Dr. Brandt is also a recipient of the 2020-2021 ASCO education fellowship
(postponed secondary to COVID). She earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
degree at Des Moines University and completed her residency at the Rutgers,
New Jersey Medical Center before completing her fellowship training in
medical oncology and
hematology at Yale School of Medicine.
For over 20 years, she has focused her practice on bringing translational
cancer care to patients by emphasizing clinical trials in a local, community setting.
