JUPITER, FLA. (December 17, 2014)—December 10th 2014 Frenchman’s Creek had its annual Men’s Health Day Golf Tournament. The tournament was a huge success with 230 participating golfers and 35 non-golfing guests to join in the festivities. Both the co-chair of the tournament, Steve Weinberg, and the Chairman of the Board of the Jupiter Medical Center Foundation, Joe Taddeo, were in attendance. Joe Taddeo even got his 5th hole-in-one! This was the best-attended Men’s Health Day in the event’s history!

The Frenchman’s Creek Men’s Health Day Tournament has pledged to raise $1,000,000 and the proceeds are to go to The Frenchman’s Creek Center for Excellence in Digestive Health at Jupiter Medical Center. This year, the second year of the tournament benefits JMC digestive health, the tournament raised $315,000 to go toward the pledge. Each year, the Frenchman’s Creek Men’s Health Day Tournament proceeds closer to their $1,000,000 goal.

“We made a commitment to raise $1 million within four years. With results like today’s, it looks like we will achieve our goal a year ahead of schedule”, stated Steve Weinberg, event co-chair. “Jupiter Medical Center is only as strong as the support it receives. Frenchman’s Creek highly values the excellent quality of care residents receive. As the Medical Center rapidly grows, it is our hope to continue to contribute to that growth,” he added.

The Frenchman’s Creek Center for Excellence in Digestive Health provides comprehensive care for a range of digestive issues including: bile ducts, gallbladder, indigestion, and stomach disorders. The team of medical practitioners provides care in the areas of diagnosis, treatment, management, and prevention of digestive health issues. These donations from the Frenchman’s Creek Golf Tournament will help the center continue its excellence in care.
