Clinical Expertise

Management of advanced peritoneal carcinomatosis through the application of Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) and cytoreductive surgery; a technique that combines surgery with chemotherapy delivered directly into the abdomen.

As medical director of the Thoracic Surgery and Lung Center of Excellence, Dr. Lee leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the chest and lungs.

Dr. Lee and a surgical team performed the first four-arm robotic lobectomy in the nation nearly two decades ago. He remains a pioneer and leading practitioner of thoracic surgery using minimally invasive techniques, including da Vinci™ robotic technology.

Dr. Lee has spent many years traveling around the United States as an instructor of robotic thoracic surgery.

Dr. Donna Pinelli, MD, FACOG is a women’s cancer specialist and is the medical director of Gynecologic Oncology and the Frank E. and Mary D. Walsh Robotic Surgery Program at Jupiter Medical Center. Selected as a “Top Doc” in Gynecologic Oncology every year for many years, Dr. Pinelli has been caring for patients in Palm Beach and its surrounding counties for over 20 years.

She treats women facing uterine, ovarian, cervical and vulvar cancers, as well as other complicated gynecologic medical issues with skill, compassion and dedication. She is highly skilled in minimally invasive surgery using the da Vinci® robotic surgical system and has performed over 1,000 robotic surgical procedures in addition to thousands of laparoscopic and open radical surgeries.

Dr. Taft is a former Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve where she served as a trauma surgeon caring for our soldiers wounded on the battlefields in Afghanistan.
