Group Fitness Classes

As kids, we loved to get together to play with our friends. As teenagers, our world revolved around our friends and the activities they enjoyed. As adults, we still enjoy being active with friends, but with the fast-paced lives we lead we don’t always feel like we have the time. Group exercise provides an opportunity to feel young again and be physically active with others.

The Cary Grossman Health & Wellness Center at Jupiter Medical Center offers a variety of group fitness classes and special classes including:

  • Boot Camp
  • Exercise class based on continuous strength and cardio exercises
  • Chair Yoga
  • Yoga principles applied in a seated position
  • Circuit (Drop-In)
  • Strength training based on completing a series of exercises at different “stations”. In lieu of an instructor, workout will be posted and equipment for the exercises will be set-up
  • CORE
  • Exercise that focuses of strengthening the abdominal and low back muscles
  • Dancing for Birth
  • Fuse dance with childbirth and postpartum education for pregnant women in any stage of pregnancy or for postpartum women wearing babies in soft slings or wraps
  • HIIT
  • High Intensity Interval Training is an interval-based class that combines total body, aerobic, and a strength conditioning workout
  • Interval Training
  • Cardio and strength training based on completing exercises during a specific time period and then repeating
  • Pre-natal yoga
  • Yoga exclusively for expecting mothers
  • The Science of Stretching
  • Full body warm-up followed by stretching every muscle (safely and scientifically) from head to toe
  • Yoga
  • Physical, mental, and spiritual practice of discipline
  • Weekend Warrior
  • Sport specific strengthening and conditioning
