
About Sheila Griffin, MPA,RYT, Certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
Teacher, Health & Wellness Coach
As director of the Mindfulness Center at Jupiter Medical Center, Sheila
Griffin is dedicated to educating and supporting people at all stages
of their health and wellness journeys so that they can achieve optimal
physical and mental health and well-being.
An experienced health and wellness professional, Sheila offers a variety
of classes and workshops at the Mindfulness Center. She is a skilled mindfulness
and yoga teacher, with certifications that include 500-hour Yoga Alliance
registered yoga teacher (RYT), Yoga4Cancer teacher, and Mindfulness-Based
Stress Reduction (MBSR) certified teacher.
Sheila completed training as a health and wellness coach at Emory University,
and as a mindfulness teacher at Brown University and the University of
Massachusetts Chan Medical School. She also has a master’s degree
in public administration from Florida Atlantic University and bachelor’s
degree in marketing from Loyola University in New Orleans.
