A Chance to Live a Better Life
Aisha Karymshakova's Story
Thanks to her son’s diligent research efforts which led to well-known
local orthopedic surgeon Andrew Noble, MD, Jupiter Medical Center Global
Medicine patient Aisha Karymshakova, from Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia,
is walking pain free and with her head held high for the first time since 2008.

"I came to the United States (to Jupiter Medical Center) to be treated
by Dr. Andrew Noble all the way from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. I traveled 11
time zones because my son chose Dr. Noble after months of meticulous research,”
states Aisha. “My son asked the physical therapists (he interviewed)
to give him a list of three to four of the best surgeons in the area.
Every single one placed Dr. Noble as their number one choice.”
For years Aisha, now 62, suffered in silence with limited range of motion
and pain in her hip. Early symptoms began in 2008, and in 2013 she began
walking with a limp and a cane. In 2014, she was diagnosed with osteoarthritis.
After more than a year of encouragement by her son, Kanybek Nur-tegin,
who lives and works in Jupiter, Florida, Aisha felt cautiously optimistic
about having total hip replacement surgery with Dr. Noble at Jupiter Medical Center.
After surgery Aisha wrote, “My son spent so much time researching
the best orthopedic surgeons. He contacted doctors, patients and hospital
administrators in Russia, Estonia, Hungary, France, Germany, Turkey, Israel,
India, South Korea, Poland, Sweden and the United States. And at the end
of all this work, Dr. Noble was a very clear choice.” She continues,
“I had my surgery a little shy of two weeks ago. Now I am taking
short walks outside without a cane. It’s amazing! There is no pain
at all and no discomfort. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome!”

Aisha’s follow-up visit with Dr. Noble in early March was also a
big success. At his request, she walked for him down the hallway at his
office and a huge smile came across both of their faces as they realized
their success. Just days following her check-up, Aisha returned home to
Kyrgyzstan.
An excerpt from Aisha Karymshakova’s thank you letter to Dr. Noble:
“Dr. Noble, may you live long and may your amazing work help many
more people. You gave me a chance to live a better life. May you always
have God’s blessing. And may you and your family live a long and
happy life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!”
