Jupiter Medical Center Welcomes Rogerio C. Lilenbaum, MD as Senior Vice President and Chief Physician Executive

One of America’s Top Physicians, Dr. Lilenbaum will serve as Director of Anderson Family Cancer Institute, lead Jupiter Medical Center’s Physician Group and spearhead the academic affiliation with UF Health

JUPITER, Fla. (August 19, 2022) –Jupiter Medical Center proudly welcomes Rogerio C. Lilenbaum, MD, FACP, FASCO as Senior Vice President and Chief Physician Executive. Dr. Lilenbaum comes to Jupiter with extensive educational and professional experience, including physician executive roles at Yale Cancer Center, Yale New Haven Health, MD Anderson Cancer Center at Banner Health, and Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Lilenbaum will be the driving force for these programs.”

Dr. Lilenbaum was Professor of Medicine at Yale School of Medicine and served as Chief Medical Officer at the Yale Cancer Center, where he developed and provided oversight of clinical programs, operations, network development and integration. Prior to joining Jupiter Medical Center, he served as the Director of the MD Anderson Cancer Center at Banner Health, leading over 140 physicians at 10 sites. Previously, Dr. Lilenbaum also served as Chief Medical Integration Officer at Yale New Haven Health where he developed integrated care models, which led to standardization and optimization of clinical care and patient experience across the delivery network.

Dr. Lilenbaum, an experienced research scientist, will spearhead the relationship with UF Health relating to clinical programs, research and graduate medical education. He earned a Masters degree in Clinical Investigation from Harvard and completed a research fellowship at University of California San Diego Medical Center. He has published more than 100 manuscripts and launched the clinical trials program at Cleveland Clinic Florida while serving as the chairman of their Cancer Institute prior to 2013.
