Diabetes Awareness Day on Tuesday, April 1, from 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.,
at the Raso Education Center, on the Medical Center’s campus. Space

Jupiter Medical Center has the only hospital-based diabetes education program
in North Palm Beach County to be recognized by the American Diabetes Association,
and the Medical Center shares its knowledge with the community by hosting
this annual event which will feature free screenings for diabetic indicators,
as well as interactive exhibits including blood glucose meters, insulin
pumps, “Ask The Expert” about diabetes and eye care, community
resources, and more. Activities are as follows:
Diabetic Supplies & Medicare in 2014 | 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Medicare has specific guidelines for covered diabetic supplies. Learn
about those guidelines, what’s covered and how to get reimbursed
for them. Lecture given by Walgreens.
Wellness In Motion Bus – Screening Mammograms
Jupiter Medical Center will have its Wellness in Motion bus onsite for
women to obtain their annual mammogram. Mammograms are performed by certified
radiologic technologists and images are interpreted by board certified
radiologists. Appointments required. Call (561) 263-3204 to schedule your
appointment. No prescription is necessary for a screening mammogram; you
may self-refer.
