Former President and CEO of CBS Joins Jupiter Medical Center Board of Trustees

Respected Broadcast Executive Strengthens Independent, Not-For-Profit Hospital’s Bench

JUPITER, FLA. (April 12, 2018) – The Board of Trustees of Jupiter Medical Center has inducted a new member, Peter A. Lund.

“The expertise and perspectives our board members offer is invaluable as we look to the future and remain committed to preserving our status as an independent, not-for-profit medical center that is run by and exists for the good of the local community,” said Jupiter Medical Center President and CEO Don McKenna.

Mr. Lund brings a particularly impressive skill set to Jupiter Medical Center. At the beginning of his career, he spent 15 years at various radio and television stations across the country before joining CBS in 1977. During more than 20 years with CBS he managed TV stations in Chicago and New York, served as President of the CBS Television Stations Division, President of CBS Sports, President of the CBS Television Network, and President of the CBS Broadcast Group. He also served as President of Multimedia Entertainment.

Lund is currently a director of Emmis Communications. He is a past director of DIRECTV, The Hallmark Channel, Nielsen Media Research, Lycos and Razorfish. Lund has also been an active part of his industry, serving as President of the International Radio and Television Society, and as a member of the Board of Trustees for his alma mater, the University of St. Thomas. He is also a member of the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame.
