Jupiter Medical Center today announced that President and CEO Dr. Amit
Rastogi has been selected as a 2019 Power Leader in Health Care by the
South Florida Business Journal.

Dr. Rastogi is new to the Power Leaders in Health Care list and is highlighted
as a “newsmaker” who “dominated business news in the
past year.” According to the
South Florida Business Journal, the 2019 Power Leaders are driving innovation and award-winning patient
care across South Florida.
Dr. Rastogi joined Jupiter Medical Center in 2019 and brings more than
20 years of experience as a healthcare executive and a practicing, board-certified
internal medicine physician. With a reputation for innovation, Rastogi
launched one of the first advance payment accountable care organizations
in the country, implemented one of the first outpatient High Reliability
programs in the nation at Yale New Haven Health in order to improve patient
safety in the ambulatory setting, and hosted the largest, single-night,
nonprofit fundraiser in the metro D.C. region, raising $26.3 million for
the regional cancer center. In his current role, he is responsible for
providing strategic direction and leadership for the Jupiter Medical Center’s
expanding clinical programs, state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge
technologies.
Dr. Rastogi earned his master’s degree in healthcare management from
Harvard University, and is a recognized healthcare and executive leader
who has quickly instituted numerous clinical initiatives at Jupiter Medical Center.
