Pelvic floor disorders (PFDs) are common in cancer patients, particularly those with gynecological, prostate, or colorectal cancers, due to treatments like surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy causing muscle damage, nerve damage, or scarring. Symptoms include incontinence, pain, and sexual dysfunction. Specialized pelvic floor therapy is highly effective at improving quality of life by rebuilding muscle strength, reducing pain, and restoring function.
