Jupiter, FL – July 30, 2025 - U.S. News & World Report, a trusted source in hospital rankings and consumer advice, has named Jupiter Medical Center, the region’s only independent, not-for-profit health care system, as “High Performing Hospital” in five disciplines, including Hip Fracture, Hip Replacement, Knee Replacement, Lung Cancer Surgery, and Pneumonia.
The Procedures & Conditions ratings, published annually, are carefully developed to assist both patients and health care professionals in making well-informed decisions about treatment options for complex health conditions or elective medical procedures.
“Being recognized again by U.S. News & World Report is a significant accomplishment for Jupiter Medical Center and our team of medical professionals,” said Amit Rastogi, MD, MHCM, President and CEO of Jupiter Medical Center. “We take great pride in being acknowledged across multiple specialties. This recognition underscores the steadfast dedication of our staff to delivering care of the highest standard.”
The orthopedics accolades, for which the Hip Fracture and Knee Replacement categories are new this year, adds to a growing list of distinctions for The Anderson Family Orthopedic and Spine Center of Excellence, which also earned the following honors within the last year:
- Blue Distinction Center+ for Knee, Hip Replacement, and Spine Surgery
- The Joint Commission Certifications for Hip, Knee, and Shoulder Replacements, as well as Spine Surgery
- Becker’s Healthcare “Great Orthopedic Program”
- One of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Joint Replacement by Healthgrades
- Second-best hospital in the nation for orthopedic surgery in Money Magazine’s inaugural “Best Hospitals for Orthopedic Surgery” list
“For more than three decades, U.S. News has been an invaluable guide for patients,” said Managing Editor and Chief of Health Analysis Ben Harder at U.S. News. “Hospitals designated as ‘High Performing’ by U.S. News demonstrate a consistent ability to provide excellent care for particular medical procedures and conditions, showcasing their specialized expertise as well as dedication to exceptional patient outcomes.”
U.S. News evaluated more than 4,400 hospitals across 15 adult specialties and 22 procedures and conditions; only one third of them earned an award. To determine the Best Hospitals, U.S. News analyzed each hospital’s performance based on objective measures such as risk-adjusted mortality rates, preventable complications and level of nursing care. The Best Hospitals Specialty rankings methodology and Procedures & Conditions ratings methodology measure patient outcomes using data from over 800 million records of patient care.
