Jupiter Medical Center Earns Multiple “High Performing” Distinctions from U.S. News

JMC recognized for multiple designations, including Hip Replacement, Knee Replacement and Lung Cancer Surgery, as it continues to advance specialty care across the region

Jupiter, Fla. – August 27, 2026 –Jupiter Medical Center (JMC)has been named among U.S. News & World Report’s 2026-2027 Best Hospitals edition as a High Performing hospital for multiple procedures and conditions: Hip Replacement, Knee Replacement, Lung Cancer Surgery, Kidney Failure and Diabetes and COPD.

The annual U.S. News Procedures & Conditions ratings assist patients and doctors in identifying hospitals with demonstrated expertise and strong outcomes for complex conditions and elective procedures. Hospitals that earn a High Performing rating are recognized for providing care that exceeds the national average in a specific procedure or condition. Less than half of the thousands of hospitals evaluated receive a 'High Performing' designation in the types of care evaluated by U.S. News.

To determine the Best Hospitals, U.S. News analyzed each hospital’s performance based on objective measures such as risk-adjusted mortality rates, preventable complications and patient experience. The Best Hospitals Specialty rankings methodology and Procedures & Conditions ratings methodology measure patient outcomes using data from over 800 million records of patient care.
