The Calcagnini Center for Mindfulness at Jupiter Medical Center is a beautiful,
soothing space overlooking the Jacqueline Fiske Healing Garden. It is
designed specifically to teach you to be more midnful, to cope with symptoms
of stres, and to manage the tensions of everyday life.

Services at the 2,600-square-foot Calcagnini Center for Mindfulness include:

MBSR training is a patient-focused intervention that can lower the stress-related
faactors that contribute to "dis-ease." It is one of the cornerstone
offerings at the Calcagnini Center for Mindfulness.
This 8-week training is ideal for cultivating greater awareness of the
mind-body connection and developing tools to improve health and well-being.
Decades of scientific research indicate that individuals trained in mindfulness
and MBSR have an enhanced ability to tap into inner resources and improve
their health. MBSR practitioners acheive an enhanced sense of balance
in their lives, develop a greater interest in learnign how to take better
care of themselves, and learn to focus on preventive health and overall wellness.

At Jupiter Medical Center our health and wellness coach works one-on-one
with you to improve your health and well-being. Using concepts drawn from
psychology and behavioral change, a wellness coach helps you leverage
your insights and develop your personal strength to set goals, overcome
obstacles and remain accountable for healty lifestyle changes.
Coaches do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or provide psychological
therapeutic interventions. They specialize in expert guidance in areas
which they hold active, nationally recognized credentials. They are trained
experts who can connect you with resources from nationally recognized
authorities.
