As president and chief advancement officer of the Jupiter Medical Center
Foundation, Liv Vesely leads development, strategic communications, and
concierge/VIP services. During her tenure, she has built a first-rate
development team, working closely with physicians, senior leadership and
hospital boards to develop strategic initiatives and achieve the highest
philanthropic revenue levels in the medical center’s history. In
a little more than five years, the Jupiter Medical Center Foundation has
raised $215 million toward a $300 million campaign, including a $25 million
gift to develop the state-of-the-art Anderson Family Cancer Institute
and a $10 million gift to support the Robson Heart & Vascular Institute.
Vesely is a seasoned healthcare executive with a proven record of development
success and substantial experience in strategic planning and communication.
Prior to joining the Jupiter Medical Center Foundation, she was deputy
chief development officer for translational research, principal and major
gifts at Mount Sinai Health System in New York. She has also served as
vice president of development for the Western Connecticut Health Network.
She also has extensive experience in various corporate communication and
public relations executive roles.
Vesely holds graduate degrees from New York University and the University
of Kent in England, as well as a master’s degree in healthcare management
from Columbia University. She is an avid triathlete, completing three
full-distance Ironman triathlons.
