Dr. Alameri is experienced in traditional and minimally invasive treatment of a variety of cardiothoracic disorders including:

• Aortic, mitral and tricuspid valve diseases (structural heart disease)
• Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
• Transcatheter Mitral Valve Repair (Mitraclip)
• Aortic root and aneurysm surgery
• Hybrid procedure for atrial fibrillation
• Robotic thoracic surgery for pulmonary disorders/lung cancer
• Robotic-assisted surgery for heart issues:
• Repairing or replacing the tricuspid valve, which manages blood flow between the right atrium and ventricle
• Sealing the left atrial appendage to prevent blood clots leading to strokes
• Conducting robotic-assisted minimally invasive coronary bypass (RA-MIDCAB) procedures to bypass blocked arteries through a small three-inch incision, avoiding the need to open the breastbone
• Treating heart failure using the BarostimTM procedure, which implants a small electrical-stimulation device to help regulate blood volume and pressure
• Repairing the mitral valve through five tiny incisions, allowing for greater precision and less trauma than traditional methods
