For the second year in a row, Jupiter Medical Center is proud to announce its Top Hospital Award by The Leapfrog Group, an independent hospital watchdog organization.

“This recognition highlights our commitment to providing the highest quality patient-centered care in the region,” said Dr. Amit Rastogi, Jupiter Medical Center president and CEO. “Our physicians, nurses and staff are to be congratulated for their dedication to consistently delivering world-class patient care.”

Jupiter Medical Center is among only 13 hospitals in the state to receive a Top General Hospital distinction.

“To once again be named a Leapfrog Top Hospital is a testament to Jupiter Medical Center’s ongoing commitment to providing the highest standard of patient care,” said Martin A. Dytrych, chairman of the Jupiter Medical Center Board of Trustees. “It’s comforting to know that our community has access to world-class care right here in the community at Jupiter Medical Center.”

Among thousands of hospitals in the country, Jupiter Medical Center received a Top General Hospital distinction recognized nationally alongside:

  • 10 Top Children’s Hospitals
  • 36 Top General Hospitals
  • 18 Top Rural Hospitals
  • 56 Top Teaching Hospitals

The award is based on several quality metrics, including preventing infections, use of technology to ensure safer care, and leadership policies and practices.

The Hospital Safety Grade’s methodology is peer-reviewed and fully transparent and the results are free to the public.
