Jupiter Medical Center's Donna M. Pinelli, MD, FACOG, Performs 2,000th da Vince Robotic Surgery

The advanced technology plays a pivotal role in the award-winning hospital’s successful treatment of uterine, ovarian, cervical and vulvar cancers, as well as other complicated gynecologic medical issues.

JUPITER, Fla. (March 1, 2021) – Dr. Donna M. Pinelli, Medical Director of Gynecologic Oncology and the Frank E. and Mary D. Walsh Robotic Surgery Program at the Anderson Family Cancer Institute at Jupiter Medical Center, performed her 2,000th surgery using the revolutionary da Vinci® Robotic Surgical System.

The da Vinci® Robotic Surgical System provides surgical assistance beyond the capabilities of human hands; increases the surgeon’s view using high-definition 3-D visualization; and is used in a number of areas including gynecologic, thoracic, cardiac and general surgeries.
