Jupiter Medical Center Recognized on National List as Leader in Oncology

JUPITER, Fla. – October 6, 2023 – Jupiter Medical Center is celebrating another recognition for its quality of care. Becker’s Healthcare recently recognized the independent not-for-profit health care system as a “Great Oncology Program.” The annual list features only 100 hospitals and health systems from across the country. Jupiter Medical Center was one of only five in Florida to achieve the standout recognition.

Editors who compiled the list acknowledged that the hospitals and systems featured have earned national recognition for their work in cancer care. Many of the programs that made the list have received national recognition from the National Cancer Institute and are ranked among the top hospitals for cancer care by U.S. News & World Report. The editors also considered centers with internationally known specialists, numerous clinical trials and exceptional safety ratings.

The Anderson Family Cancer Institute at Jupiter Medical Center brings together multidisciplinary cancer experts, leading-edge technology, and amenities uniquely designed to ensure the highest level of patient comfort and healing in one integrated location. The Institute is accredited by the Commission on Cancer, a distinction only 30% of cancer programs nationwide receive. The Institute’s multidisciplinary approach allows patients to see multiple specialists and the support teami n a single day.
