Awarded for Excellence in Healthcare in South Florida. Recognized as the Best in the World.

Already ranked the No. 1 hospital for quality, safety and patient satisfaction in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast, Jupiter Medical Center has received a cache of awards in recognition of our iconic institution’s renowned physicians, advanced medical technologies, record of safety and top quality of care.

National magazine Newsweek has selected Jupiter Medical Center as one of the World’s Best Hospitals for 2021 in its annual ranking of 164,500 hospitals around the globe and over 6,000 throughout the U.S. According to Newsweek, the hospitals depicted on its highly anticipated annual ranking rise above the rest in a number of areas including consistent medical excellence, renowned physicians, top nursing care, support staff expertise, and state-of-the-art technology.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services awarded Jupiter Medical Center a 5-star rating for Overall Hospital Quality. The 5-star ranking is a result of measuring a variety of rigorous CMS standards across seven areas of quality. Scores for mortality, safety of care, readmission, patient experience, effectiveness of care, timeliness of care, and efficient use of medical imaging are assessed using a methodology called the Latent Variable Model and calculated to determine the number of stars awarded to a hospital.

Jupiter Medical Center has been awarded the top safety rating by The Leapfrog Group, a respected independent watchdog organization of more than 2,600 acute-care hospitals across the nation. This Grade “A” safety rating is the sixth in a row by the nationally recognized organization and is considered “the gold standard of patient safety.” Developed under the guidance of a national panel of experts, the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade uses up to 27 measures of publicly available hospital safety data to assign grades to acute-care hospitals. The methodology is peer- reviewed and fully transparent, and the results are free to the public.
