Here's What You'll Find at Jupiter Medical Center
-

exercise programs designed to improve strength. Their approach is based
on research showing that exercise programs before surgery can improve
function after surgery.

stages of your surgery. Speak with representatives from nursing and rehabilitation
and get answers to all your questions about specific procedures.
-
Outpatient Rehabilitation: On state-of-the-art equipment and with expert guidance, you’ll
experience physical rehabilitation focused on restoring your quality of
life after joint replacement or spine surgery. Jupiter Medical Center's

Aquatic Therapy: Offered at our Health and Rehabilitation Center on the Jupiter Medical
Center campus, aquatic therapy is considered one of the best places to

the spine. Aquatic therapy leverages buoyance to counteract gravity, support
your weight, and relieve pressure of your spine as you strive for greater
range of motion, physical conditioning and less pain.
-
Wellness Program: When you’ve regained strength and mobility from rehabilitation,

Aquatic Therapy
The buoyancy of aquatic therapy offers significant benefits for spinal
patients. It helps to counteract gravity, supports the weight of the patient,
and takes pressure off the spine, while allowing for greater range of
motion and reducing the level of pain that patients experience. The aquatic
environment also provides resistance, allowing for strength and conditioning
while decreasing risk of further injury.
Aquatic exercises help strengthen the back, abdominal, and hip muscles
that help create a healthy spine. The pool is considered one of the best
places to work on core strengthening, which is one of our main goals treating
spinal patients. Aquatic therapy is offered at our Health and Rehabilitation
Center on the Jupiter Medical Center campus.
Wellness Program
When you no longer require rehabilitative services, you have the option
of continuing your exercise regimen by joining our post-therapy program
located at Jupiter Medical Center's Health & Wellness Center.
Our exercise specialists will create a lifelong exercise program specific
to your orthopedic or spine related needs by working in conjunction with
your Jupiter Medical Center therapist to achieve your personal fitness goals.
